Rachel Willis-Sørensen is an acclaimed American operatic soprano, celebrated for her powerful portrayals of iconic Verdi heroines such as Leonora, Elisabetta, and Desdemona. Born in 1984 in Tri-Cities, Washington, her journey in music began at the tender age of five, and by her teenage years, she was already a seasoned singer. With a diverse repertoire spanning from Mozart to Wagner, Rachel has become a regular guest at leading opera houses worldwide. Her career highlights include her Metropolitan Opera debut as Countess Almaviva in "Le Nozze di Figaro" in 2014 and her role as the First Lady in "The Magic Flute" at the San Francisco Opera in 2010. Rachel's dynamic performances and captivating stage presence continue to enthrall audiences, making her a standout figure in the world of opera.
