J. J. Johnson's trombone skills and style were consistently top-notch. His incredible technique creates breathtaking music, and with a band of outstanding musicians, he keeps the listener hooked from start to finish. It's a fantastic pressing with pure analog, rich sound, and just like the recordings of that era, the three-dimensional stage is incredibly deep. A perfect 10-star performance. Absolutely amazing.
Got the Van Gelder Stereo stamp in the dead wax area. The sound quality is absolutely flawless, it's got that authentic RVG 60’s vibe (with the drums on the right side, as expected). I'm puzzled as to why this pressing of this amazing album is so inexpensive, around 20 bucks for a NM copy, but I'm definitely satisfied with my purchase.

This album is absolutely incredible. It's about time the whole JJ catalog got the Kevin Gray reissue treatment! We need to make this happen!!
