Product description

Queensrÿche's fifth studio album, Promised Land, marked a significant milestone in the band's discography, released on 18 October 1994 through EMI Records. This seminal work in progressive metal showcases the band's evolution towards darker themes and complex structures, solidifying their position as pioneers in the genre. The album's success is evident, debuting at number three on the Billboard 200 and achieving platinum status.

Promised Land explores personal and societal issues, leaving a profound legacy in the world of heavy metal. The album's 12 tracks, including '9:28 A.M.', 'I Am I', and 'Someone Else?', demonstrate the band's ability to craft intricate, thought-provoking music that resonates with listeners. With a duration of approximately 1 hour and 7 minutes, this album is a masterclass in progressive metal, blending elements of glam metal, heavy metal, and hard rock to create a unique sound.

  • Cleaned Up, Works Well

    4 out of 5 stars
    jalwdkizkiDecember 7, 2025United States🇺🇸

Purchased brand new and still in its packaging, it had endless clicks and pops. However, after giving it a thorough clean, it's working just fine. It's not an audiophile quality pressing, but it's still very nice!

  • Poor Quality Pressing

    1 out of 5 stars
    LziwpxubxNovember 19, 2025United States🇺🇸

This pressing is awful, it's not just quiet, but there's a low hum and crackling sounds all through the record. And mine was brand new. I'm gonna get a different pressing, hopefully in black vinyl, and chuck this one in the trash.

  • Incredible Heavy Prog Album

    5 out of 5 stars
    kewakemx8July 20, 2025United States🇺🇸

this album is incredable. its got nothing to do with heavy metal. i'd recomend it to anyone who loves heavy prog and progressive music.

  • Low Volume, High Quality

    4 out of 5 stars
    osbimwMay 26, 2025United States🇺🇸

This final Queensryche album to receive a vinyl release has been pressed with a notably low volume, as others have pointed out. But if you crank up the volume on your setup – you know, that's what that dial is for – it sounds really quite good. The vinyl quality is solid, allowing you to enjoy it without any crackles or pops. My copy, at least, sounds fantastic.

  • Quality Pressing, Needs Volume Boost

    5 out of 5 stars
    DztsigosyMay 26, 2025United States🇺🇸

The quality of this pressing is top-notch, though it would be great if the volume was turned up a notch. The print job is fantastic, really crisp and clear, and not too shiny.
