Purchased brand new and still in its packaging, it had endless clicks and pops. However, after giving it a thorough clean, it's working just fine. It's not an audiophile quality pressing, but it's still very nice!
This pressing is awful, it's not just quiet, but there's a low hum and crackling sounds all through the record. And mine was brand new. I'm gonna get a different pressing, hopefully in black vinyl, and chuck this one in the trash.
this album is incredable. its got nothing to do with heavy metal. i'd recomend it to anyone who loves heavy prog and progressive music.
This final Queensryche album to receive a vinyl release has been pressed with a notably low volume, as others have pointed out. But if you crank up the volume on your setup – you know, that's what that dial is for – it sounds really quite good. The vinyl quality is solid, allowing you to enjoy it without any crackles or pops. My copy, at least, sounds fantastic.
The quality of this pressing is top-notch, though it would be great if the volume was turned up a notch. The print job is fantastic, really crisp and clear, and not too shiny.
