  • Brilliant Closer, Mod Delight

    3 out of 5 stars

The final track on the first side, 'Salvador Dali's Garden Party,' is a substantial and lively closer. Plus, the single boasts artwork by The Robert Winterman Design Group! Most of this album, true to Daniel and crew's style, is filled with handyman-like broody singalongs perfect for days when your umbrella's more holes than cover and your trench coat's drenched like a cheek post-funeral. Life's a bunch of feck smellin' roses! Ideal for fans of Alice in Wonderland, prompt tea time, mod culture, and basically anyone trying to have a good time amidst the ongoing hell that is life! P.S. The lyrics are brilliant!
