This album's mastering is fantastic. I'd never listened to it before; I've been a casual Jobim admirer for ages (who hasn't?). There's a bit of a repetitive feel to the tracks, but each song has its own catchy element, and they're all excellent. Every standout moment is included. I'm particularly fond of this rendition of Chega de Saudade, it's simply a gorgeous version.

Absolutely fantastic sound quality on this Japanese release. I've got quite a few Japanese pressings, and many of them can be too harsh or too far removed from the original master. But this one is really impressive and stands out from the rest.
