"Pay As You Earn" is the debut album by Dutch bassist and composer Joris Teepe, released in 1994 under the Mons Records label. This jazz album is a testament to Teepe's musical prowess and his ability to blend various jazz styles seamlessly. Recorded in New York City at East Side Sound Studios on September 9, 1993, the album features an impressive lineup including Don Braden on saxophone, Tom Harrell on trumpet, Cyrus Chestnut on piano, and Carl Allen on drums.
