  • Unmixed Version Superior

    5 out of 5 stars
    xeisrovcJuly 11, 2025United States🇺🇸

I was under the impression that the version of Forever Today on Parade Of The Athletes Unmixed had the strings intro cut out, making it around 8:40, not 11:59. It's 11:59 on Just Be and Magikal Journey - the classical string intro feels a bit tacked on, and isn't really part of the main song, there's a pause. The Youtube upload of Unmixed is like that, 8:40, by the way. It is fantastic. Underrated album - one of the greatest albums ever, in any genre.

  • Legendary Trance Masterpiece

This is an absolute Legendary masterpiece! The greatest trance album ever made. Classical music and trance music, what an epic combination!

  • Not My Style

This isn't for me. I'm more into his earlier stuff from the late 90's (under different names) like West & Storm's "Moose", which is true "Progressive Trance". This track leans more towards mainstream Trance.

  • Tiësto's Underrated Masterpiece

    5 out of 5 stars
    abyc28npMarch 26, 2024United Kingdom🇬🇧

In my opinion, this album is one of my all-time favorites! Tiësto has managed to blend classic and electronic music into a piece of high complexity and consistency (and sorry if that's not enough): fantastic instrumental sections and gorgeous melodies used brilliantly. 90 minutes of non-stop music! I've seen some comments saying: there are many DJs who could do better! I know there are many DJs who are very good, but... better? What would they do? 90 minutes of progressive house? 90 minutes of uplifting trance type: beat, melody, beat, melody, beat.....? I believe this is a masterpiece. This work is so underrated, and not just according to me. Tiësto was the only DJ who had the right quality to create something fitting. The Olympic jury that chose Tiësto was amazed by some of his works like "Lethal Industry" or "Traffic," and chose him for that reason! Tiësto is sometimes underrated, and I'm not really able to understand why, and why some people criticize him so much! I've listened to some different artists who, yes! They make really high-quality music, but they don't have the courage to change and always make something different: a skill that Tiësto has always had, and this makes him really different from all the other artists, and I think that many people don't get this, I really couldn't replace him with any other artist, I think that he will remain at the top of my favorites.
