Without a doubt, a perfect 10. For around 25 years, this (well, actually two tracks) has been among my top four or five beloved musical pieces. There were moments when it was my sole lifeline. When my mom passed away so suddenly in 2002, I'd listen to 'Talam: Mahalakshi Tala -- 9 1/2 Beats' at max volume through my headphones during my morning subway commute to work. This and another album (The Deepest Seat, by Anthony Curtis) were the only music that could lift me out of my sorrow or somehow turn my grief into pure joy.
