Got my copy today at last. I preordered it way back in August from Maniacs Store, and that was a real bonehead move - it'd been in stores here in Australia for at least 2-3 weeks before they finally sent it to me. They did chuck in a hand-numbered _Ohms lithograph to make up for it, which is pretty neat, even if it's a tad disappointing. But hey, I'm getting off track! This album is phenomenal! And my copy sounds incredible - it could use a slight boost in the mid-range, but crank it up and it still knocks your socks off.
It's alright for what it aims to achieve, but personally, it doesn't do much for me. I can appreciate it, but I can't say I'm a fan. The guitar riffs and beats are decent, but the vocals just don't click with me. I'll give it a so-so 5/10 or a 2/5.
This is absolutely fantastic! The vinyl is super quiet, with tons of punch and dynamics. Highly recommended..
Decent pressing here, not as lively as my other Deftones albums but I'm happy with it. No warping or hiss, just good vibes!
