Having not had the opportunity to compare it to the original, I can say that my version sounds incredibly loud and clear, making it a joy to listen to. In my view, the only downside of this album is the slightly pixelated image on the front cover.
I've got this version and the one from '74. The bass here isn't doing it for me, it's a bit off, like they tried to give it a more modern feel but ended up with too much low end, in my opinion. So, I'd say this pressing is alright, but the older ones are definitely better.
Barclay's reissue quality is quite poor. My vinyl has tons of scratches and a lot of surface noise. The album is amazing and I absolutely love it, but I'm really disappointed with the pressing quality.
