Wiz Khalifa has crafted a 17-track journey through his life, beliefs, and passions. This time, he brings the wisdom of an artist who's experienced it all - chart-topping hits, blockbuster soundtracks, sold-out tours, countless admirers, and an endless supply of cannabis. It's more of a reflective look back than an experimental leap, blending gospel, soul, spoken word, and punk rock elements with his signature rap style. The title "Multiverse" fits perfectly, as Wiz seems to have explored different realities through his experiences with weed, diverse cultures, and women, or perhaps it's a nod to the multiverse trend in superhero films from the past decade. He doesn't forget his loyal fans though - you'll still find a couple of trap beats here, but it's clear his creative energy was poured into the other tracks, which unfortunately didn't receive as much attention. The album cover is incredibly lavish. While I'm not a fan of every track, I have to commend Wiz for exploring various styles in one album, much like Kendrick's ambitions in 'To Pimp A Butterfly'. The music itself might rate a 3 or 4 out of 5, but because Wiz is taking risks and pushing boundaries with such an extensive album, it earns a 5 out of 5. Fans of Wiz will undoubtedly appreciate this.
