In years, I haven't come across a reggae album this phenomenal. The sound and production are nearly flawless. Even 3 years post-release, it feels incredibly current. It's a sharp political and cultural commentary. HA holds nothing back, targeting everyone and everything in his messages. "Midnight Rocker" is a must-have for any genuine reggae enthusiast's collection.

The vinyl is flat, perfectly aligned, and has a lovely deep red hue. The audio quality is sharp and full of energy. I'm really happy with it.
Couldn't have said it better myself. The tunes are fantastic and the pressing is top-notch; mostly super quiet with minimal surface noise and the dynamics are spot on. The disc is perfectly centered and flat. The bass is insane and really puts your bass drivers and amp grip to the test. The vocals are rich and sound incredibly real. His voice has evolved a bit from his earlier stuff; maybe doesn't hit the high notes like before but it's full of character and just as amazing as ever. I wasn't expecting a gold disc to sound this incredible. The color is pretty cool too; it's a real gold hue, not that dark yellow shade!
