Upon its release in the wake of the second Iraq War, this album struck a chord with its timely themes and garnered widespread critical acclaim, even if its commercial success didn't quite match the accolades. I misplaced my CD copy ages ago and recently found myself curious about how the lyrics would resonate today. Turns out, they hold up remarkably well—unfortunately, not much has changed politically, and Chris T-T seemed to have a prescient understanding of where society was heading over two decades ago. What sets "London Is Sinking" apart, though, is its intimate portrayal of individual lives and their struggles with the outside world. As for the mastering—since this is Discogs, that's what really matters—it's absolutely stellar. The sound is crisp, clear, and rich, with no background noise and a solid bass line. It's definitely worth owning for any music enthusiast.
