In April 1966, this soulful, groovy live trio performance was captured in NYC, with standout tracks "Gemini" and the namesake tune. Gene Edwards serves as a great counterpart to Holmes, his sharp guitar riffs beautifully match the smooth organ runs. This record bears the VAN GELDER mark and delivers excellent audio quality, boasting a solid bass response and clear stereo imaging, creating an engaging, cozy sound. My copy plays back well with only a hint of light surface hiss here and there. Really solid stuff.
