Amazing performances, but the sound quality just isn't up to par. Treat yourself and grab the Talking Heads 'Live On Tour' album for the same exact show (at the Agora in Cleveland, 12-18-1978) on a way better pressing. I've got both, so I know what I'm talking about. The only thing missing with Live On Tour is side D from this release.
Superb pressing indeed. Quite the pleasant surprise. The band's name, Talking Heads, still one of my all-time favorite live albums ever. This oneβs a close second for Talking Heads. Mastering is top-notch and the wax is very quiet. Highly recommend.
Amazing audio quality and the pressing is flawless!! Absolutely a must-have!!
I just took a look at the runouts of this so-called "worldwide" edition. It was cut by JNH at Sterling and pressed at MRP, which makes it identical to the U.S. release, from what I can tell. The only distinction is that the U.S. version includes some numbers, like #6, which are missing on this one.
This is fantastic, particularly for any Talking Heads enthusiast. I'm thrilled to have found a copy, and after the first listen, it's clear that it's been done really well.
