Product description

Dive into the captivating world of classical piano with Kotaro Fukuma's "Listen to the Universe," a mesmerizing collection released on September 4, 2019, under Naxos Japan. This album is a testament to Fukuma's virtuosity and versatility, blending timeless compositions with contemporary flair. The journey begins with Bach's iconic "The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book 1," featuring the hauntingly beautiful Prelude and Fugue in C Minor, BWV 847. Schumann's "Arabeske in C Major, Op. 18" adds a touch of romantic elegance, while "Kreisleriana, Op. 16" showcases Fukuma's dynamic range and emotional depth. Liszt's "Grandes études de Paganini" challenges the listener with its technical brilliance, and Ravel's "Jeux d'eau" brings a sparkling, impressionistic charm. The album concludes with Fukuma's own composition, "Spring and Asura (Akashi Takashima Version)," a fusion of traditional and modern elements that highlights his innovative spirit. Whether you're a seasoned classical enthusiast or a newcomer to the genre, "Listen to the Universe" offers a rich and rewarding listening experience.
