Take away the interludes and "Like Father, Like Son" is just another typical Big Tymin' record from The Cash Money Millionaires. But with those interludes, the album turns into a mobster flick tale of allegiance and the good times that tag along. Scott Storch, Jim Jonsin, and a cool little Pimp C shine as highlights in an album powered by beats and packed with so much boasting that any necessary social talk gets lost in the mix of bass and bragging, bass and bragging over and over.
