The tunes are absolutely wild, no doubt about it. … but I can't figure out what the remastering engineer did to Grace Kelly and almost half of Lolypop - it's like there's a filter over it. The rest is flawless - dynamic and spacious! Just pre-ordered the 2025 pink version by Pallas … will keep you posted
This album is absolutely phenomenal, I might even call it one of the greatest of the 2000s! Honestly, I can't think of a single MIKA album that's not amazing!! Now, we just need TBWKTM, TOOL and NPIH on vinyl :))
This pressing sounds fantastic! I'm not sure how it stacks up against others, but I'd definitely suggest grabbing this one.
I must say, the quality blew me away, it even tops my MOV version! The volume is incredible and the bass hits hard (especially in 'Lollipop'), it sounds absolutely fantastic!
It seems like there might've been a recent repress of this album, as my copy came with the black MOV "classic album" sticker. Regardless, this is an amazing pressing of a true 2000s singer-songwriter masterpiece!
