Gorgeous sounding record. Plus, the pink has this cool marbled, metallic effect—I'm really impressed with how great it turned out
Gotta admit, this sounds absolutely fantastic, no shock considering it was mastered by Ryan Smith. Way more captivating than the digital copy, and I'm not just saying that 'cause it's trendy. Both records are perfectly flat and super quiet overall. I'm enjoying the album even more after giving this a spin. P.S. folks need to wise up and stop falling for those blatant scam artists, it's crazy how easily some of y'all are fooled.
To start with, this album is a significant upgrade from First Two Words of Frankenstein. It's typical of The National to share their "scraps" and outdo their latest album! :) In my view, this is a better release. The vinyl is a stunning translucent pink - even prettier than the picture on their site. I'm glad they didn't cram this onto a single LP. The audio quality is excellent. I gave my copy a quick clean as there was a fair bit of dust clinging to the second record in particular. Still up for grabs on their website for $38. Don't miss out!
