Larry Carlton is a legendary American guitarist, born in 1948, who has left an indelible mark on the music world with his smooth, sweet tone and virtuosic playing. Emerging from the vibrant Los Angeles studio scene of the late '60s, Carlton built a prolific career as a sought-after session musician, collaborating with iconic acts like Steely Dan and Joni Mitchell. His work with the Crusaders and the supergroup Fourplay further cemented his status as a jazz guitar icon.
