About David Enhco

David Enhco is a captivating French trumpeter and composer, born in Paris in 1986, who has swiftly made a significant mark on the jazz scene. With a musical lineage that includes his mother, the soprano Caroline Casadesus, and his grandfather, the renowned conductor Jean-Claude Casadesus, David Enhco's journey in music began at an early age. He started exploring percussion and piano at three, and by five, he had picked up the trumpet, showcasing his prodigious talent in concerts by the age of eight. Enhco's formal training includes classical studies with Pascal Clarhaut and jazz studies at the Didier Lockwood Music Center, where he honed his skills and developed his unique voice.

David Enhco's music is characterized by its emotional depth and simplicity, eschewing virtuosity for genuine connection. His discography includes several acclaimed albums, such as "Layers," "Horizons," and "Chet," a tribute to the legendary Chet Baker, which he co-created with pianist Marc Perrenoud. Enhco's performances are not just concerts but immersive experiences, blending poetry and light with moments of profound introspection. His ability to engage audiences with his heartfelt playing and compelling stage presence has earned him numerous accolades, including two Victoires du Jazz awards in 2018 for "Artist on the Rise" and "Group of the Year." Whether performing with his quartet, the Keystone Big Band, or in collaborative projects, David Enhco continues to captivate audiences with his soulful trumpet playing and innovative compositions.
