This pressing is quite disappointing as the album's duration doesn't fit a single vinyl. You'd clearly notice the complete absence of bass, which is really irritating. In this regard, the CD version is far superior.
I must say, I was truly blown away by the audio quality of this particular pressing. When I listened to it using headphones, I was struck by the impressive soundstage and the incredibly detailed highs and lows. It's one of those uncommon new releases that genuinely brings me back to the way it sounded when I was younger in the '90s.
After reading past reviews about this 1xLP edition, I thought the sound quality would be awful, but this pressing really impressed me. It's unbelievable that they squeezed a 66-minute album onto one vinyl without it sounding terrible. Sure, it's not up to audiophile standards, but it's just as good as the CD version from the same year.
Pressing is too quite and misses the mark on depth and punch. This album deserves a 2LP reissue to give those classic tracks the justice they deserve.
The audio quality is absolutely fantastic, the pressing is top-notch, and there's hardly any surface noise to speak of. Sure, "Bed of Roses" is a tad softer, but that's how it's meant to be.
