This pressing style was likely made for US radio stations, where some would air entire albums. With two turntables side by side, a DJ could queue them up and play the whole album from start to finish without pausing to flip the record live on-air.
This is the ultimate way to experience Janis's incredible, soulful voice. The audio quality and vinyl pressing aren't perfect, but hey, not many live albums from that time were. If you're a fan like I am, you've got to have this.
