Product description

"Jazz For The Carriage Trade" by George Wallington Quintet is a captivating journey into the world of hard bop and bebop, released on January 1, 1991, under the Original Jazz Classics label. Originally recorded in 1956, this reissue brings together six tracks that showcase the quintet's mastery of cool jazz and their innovative approach to the genre.

  • Bassless Japanese Jazz Disappointment

    5 out of 5 stars
    wiapnirwkApril 30, 2025United States🇺🇸

HEADS UP, I own a ton of Japanese Jazz records, and this one is by far the worst I've ever encountered. Don't waste your money, there's clearly something off with it. The bass is non-existent. I'm not just talking about a lack of low frequencies, it's like there's no bass at all!

  • Japan Press: Crisp Sound, Stunning Music

Don’t wanna drop hundreds on a US or UK original? Grab this Japan press instead. Sound is crisp, well-balanced, and packs a punch! Plus, the music is absolutely stunning.
