Jan Dismas Zelenka, born in 1679 in Louňovice pod Blaníkem, Bohemia, was a remarkable composer and musician of the Baroque era. Zelenka's works span a wide range of vocal and instrumental genres, including masses, oratorios, operas, and chamber music.
