About Hridaynath Mangeshkar

Hridaynath Mangeshkar, affectionately known as Balasaheb in the music and film industry, is a renowned Indian music director and occasional singer. Born into the illustrious Mangeshkar family, he is the only son of the legendary musician Deenanath Mangeshkar and the younger brother of the iconic singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. Hridaynath's musical journey began under the tutelage of the legendary vocalist Ustad Amir Khan, and he has since composed for numerous Marathi and Hindi films, as well as spiritual compositions like Bhagavad Gita and Meera bhajans.

His notable works include the soundtracks for films like 'Lekin', 'Maya Memsaab', 'Lal Salaam', and 'Mashaal'. Hridaynath's contributions to the industry have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Padma Shri and the Filmfare Marathi Lifetime Achievement Award. Beyond his musical prowess, Hridaynath is also a politician, adding another dimension to his multifaceted career. His music, characterized by its depth and emotional resonance, continues to inspire and captivate audiences.
