Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
In the Clocktower edition of this album, "Life Is Gonna Easy" is notably absent, replaced by "Prophet Dub - Satta", remixed by Brad Osbourne, yet it doesn't really mess up the overall vibe. Happily, the audio quality on this pressing is decent, boasting a solid bass response, and the famously murky Black Ark sound shines through, well, murkily. My copy plays smooth and clear, with barely any surface noise to speak of.
The music is absolutely fantastic, but the transfer to CD is quite disappointing; there's a lot of background noise, clicks, and hisses that really should've been cleaned up or (re)mastered. Plus, there's no booklet or any information at all. Just another typical, careless Abraham/Clocktower release.
