Among the most overlooked jazz funk albums of the late 1970s, crafted by this extraordinary and perpetually underappreciated band. The standout track here is the utterly MASSIVE "Covert Action", one of the grooviest and funkiest songs you'll ever come across. It features deep, punchy drumming by Stix Hooper and some of the finest saxophone riffs by Wilton Felder. Simply an amazing, amazing track. The rest of the album is pretty darn groovy too, but "Covert Action" is the definite highlight for sure!
