Mastering is impressive, but my version was quite noisy with my AT VM540ML stylus, even after a thorough clean. Wouldn't suggest this one.
Upon receiving it, I gave it a spin, and I mean A LOT, and it consistently delivered that satisfying crunch and bass. The decision to go with 2LP was a good call, but I wouldn't exactly call it "audiophile" grade. It's pretty good, but not exceptional. The inserts and booklet are neat, and I opted for this version because it had the coolest look. The weight isn't quite what you'd expect from 180 grams, but it's still pretty solid.
Man, this 2024 cassette is an absolute blast to listen to!!!!!! It's crazy that there's no noise reduction used here, but the sound quality is still amazing. The mastering is spot on, and the packaging is hands down the best I've seen for a single cassette. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience spinning this album on tape.
Awesome record. A tad tricky to fold back up but I guess I'm just being cautious about it folding.
