Seems like I got a good one with my see-through version. No noticeable hiss or cracks and such. The sound quality is spot on. There's a "Made in Germany" sticker on the back of the album, over the plastic wrap, in case that's useful info.
Vast soundstage, crisp and precise audio that's utterly silent and smooth like velvet.
The tracks are just as stunning as the mastering and pressing. Not a peep of noise. Totally worth the penny.
After a few (around 5) listens, the sound quality of the clear vinyl edition is merely VG, much like every other clear vinyl record. Additionally, I notice a significant amount of low-frequency rumble at the start of both Side A and Side B. It's clearly a mispress. Far from enjoyable.
My personal clear pressing is really good, no pops or crackles.
