About Al Cohn

Al Cohn, born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1925, was a renowned jazz saxophonist, arranger, and composer whose career spanned over four decades. He rose to fame in the 1940s as a member of Woody Herman's Second Herd, where he was part of the celebrated "Four Brothers" saxophone section.
