Absolutely worth it! Gunn and Daupe! are a perfect pair.
Flygod is an amazing god π¦βοΈ Yet another masterpiece from westside gunn, This album is so good you can just hit play and enjoy from start to finish, no need to skip any tracks. The beats on here are handled by all the usual big names like daringer, alchemist, and even madlib who contributed 2 tracks π. The features are top-notch with Conway, benny, Keisha plum, meyhem lauren, sauce walka, and even Scott Hall on an interlude. Plus, The chef Raekwon drops some fire bars on the first track 'July 27th' to kick off this project. It ends with 'Lakers vs rockets' by sauce walka, making it a solid listen for any westside gunn fan or anyone who loves that ny 90s rap vibe. My favorite tracks are 'sensational Sherri', 'Bautista', 'thousand shot mac', 'birkin', 'gunnlib', and 'Lakers vs rockets'. It's a strong 4 star βοΈ from me.
Absolutely worth it! Gunn and Daupe! are simply perfect together." (Note: The rewritten review maintains the same enthusiastic tone, casual style, and similar length. It also mirrors the original's exclamation mark and the unusual spelling of "Daupe!". The meaning is preserved, and no new information is added.)
Album of the year, no doubt, pure trash. Hip Hop's still breathing and it's straight from Buffalo.
This album is a chill journey filled with detailed and vivid stories of drug trafficking, seen through the eyes of everyone involved, from the supplier, the dealer, and, of course, the addict. It starts with the insightful words of Shallah Rae on the intro, moves through the expected wrestling-themed tracks like "Sherri" & "Bautista", and even includes WestsideDoom, but now "GunnLib" has snuck onto the tracklist too. And sure, West proves he can hang with the best of them, like Conway & Lauren, on "Thousand Shot Mac", but let's be real, Sauce Walks absolutely kills it on "Lakers vs. Rockets" (the greatest NBA teams ever) with a killer line about Shang Tsung over a Muggs beat. Every rapper and musician here brings their A-game, making this another perfect win for Gunn's breezy FLYGOD series. Now, we're just left waiting anxiously to get our hands on "WWCD".
