Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
In my view, the MOV pressing stands out as the finest recent reissue of this album. This LP happens to be my top pick from his traditional folk era. I'd highly suggest it to any folk music lover. I'm quite familiar with every track on this record, both in terms of playing and singing.
It seems this Canadian initial release has a distinct tracklist compared to the US and UK editions: Unlike the US version, it excludes "Belated Forgiveness Plea" but includes "Oh Deed I Do" Instead of "Belated Forgiveness Plea," the UK version swaps in "Universal Soldier" I'm curious about the reasoning behind these changes.
I've got a copy with the number 14 on the label for side 2, and the matrix numbers are a bit different (Side 1: MALS 867A-1 *T STEREO KT AH; Side 2: MALS 867B-1 *T STEREO KT AR), but apart from that, it's the same as this one. I'm not sure if it should be listed separately or just considered a variation of this release.
