  • Jazz Peak in '67

    5 out of 5 stars
    YoytibulosMay 11, 2025United States🇺🇸

Fantastic jazz from '67. Fell in love with it on first listen and still adore the sound and vibe. The band gels well and the music feels fresh and creative. It led me to check out more of Larry Coryell's work. I reckon he was at his peak from this era to the mid-70s." (Note: Maintained the casual tone, similar structure, and enthusiasm. Replicated the informal use of "gel" instead of "blend" and kept the original sentiment. The phrase "reckon he was" mirrors the original's casual style. The error "vibe" instead of "atmosphere" was kept to maintain the original's style.)

  • Vibraphone Jazz Brilliance

    5 out of 5 stars
    JbSojouJanuary 20, 2025United States🇺🇸

This groundbreaking jazz album showcases the vibraphone beautifully, with Larry Coryell delivering some outstanding guitar performances. It's not an original pressing, likely from the early '70s. The vinyl sounds fantastic, with the guitar and vibes standing out vividly and clearly, a solid low end for the rhythm section, and a wide, atmospheric soundstage. My copy plays smoothly with just a hint of surface noise occasionally.

  • Coryell's Improvisational Masterpiece

    5 out of 5 stars
    BitZwySjaYNovember 28, 2024United States🇺🇸

An all-time classic album, featuring the late Larry Coryell delivering incredible solos, while Burton, Haynes, and Swallow showcase their brilliant improvisational skills. A must-have!!!!
