About Dave Dreiwitz

Dave Dreiwitz is a versatile American musician and multi-instrumentalist, renowned for his dynamic bass playing across various genres, particularly within the jam band scene. Born on January 2, 1966, Dreiwitz has made a significant impact as the bassist for the eclectic rock band Ween since 1997, contributing to all their studio albums from "White Pepper" onward. Beyond Ween, he is also a key member of Joe Russo's Almost Dead, a highly acclaimed Grateful Dead cover band. Dreiwitz's musical prowess extends to his own project, Crescent Moon, showcasing his creativity and versatility. Known for his distinctive gear, including the Rickenbacker 4001, Ampeg SVT-CL Classic, and Ampeg Classic Series 8 x 10" Cabinet, Dreiwitz's performances are as much about the music as they are about the experience. Whether on stage with Ween, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, or his own ventures, Dreiwitz delivers a captivating and energetic presence that keeps audiences engaged and eager for more.
