The sound quality is excellent here, particularly on "Journey". However, the pressing isn't consistent, with some tracks having surface noise like crackles and pops. At this price, I'd hoped for more durable packaging too; the jacket feels quite flimsy.
Side D has a bit of crackle and surface noise, and there's a noticeable skip on the first track. But overall, it's a great package and I'm thrilled to have this on vinyl!
Has anyone elses copy of someday soon been crackling a bunch? The rest of the record is good, but this track keeps crackling even after I clean it and brush the needle...
KT Tunstall kicked off her musical journey with a debut album that I absolutely adore. "Drastic Fantastic" (awful title) offers more of the same, it's a bit formulaic, but it's a strong record.
