An eerie yet stunning, though quite enigmatic addition to Garbarek's discography. It might not be the easiest to digest, but it's certainly one of his most masterful. Like the cold breath of the North Sea weaving through the Norwegian fjords.
This is the record that first drew me to Garbarek, even though it's not his most easy-to-listen-to work. But the stuff on here really spoke to me more than, like, the Belonging album did.
