Among the world's top jazz artists, this incredible album captivates with its outstanding audio quality. A truly analog experience and a must-have record. 'Concierto de Aranjuez' offers 19 minutes of absolute jazz heaven.
Had a really enjoyable time with this one, though RVG's recording approach took a bit away from it. The instruments don't have that live vibe; they seem like they were recorded in separate spaces. The piano on the left side sounds muffled, like it's under a cover. But man, these guys really know how to play!
This album sounds absolutely amazing. It's such a fantastic find. I can't praise it highly enough!
Right behind Freddie Hubbard's Straight Life, this is CTI's second finest album. Concierto De Aranjuez is a stunning vinyl experience. The pressing quality is superb; this record will truly take you away.
I'd definitely suggest giving this a try. In my opinion, it surpasses some of my bluenote tracks from King Record. The cymbals and bass are absolutely fantastic. I was truly amazed.
