I'm a huge fan of this album and have played the cd over and over again. However, this vinyl version is quite subdued and lacks vibrancy. Not my favorite. Really wish they'd release a 1/2 speed or 1 step version soon.
I'm usually all about this album and have played the cd over and over. However, this vinyl version is pretty quiet, dull, and lacks energy. It's not the greatest. Really wish they'd release a 1/2 speed or 1 step edition soon.
Kings Of Leon hasn't ventured too far from their previous album, and honestly, why should they if the last one was such a hit? Sure, it's quite similar, but there's plenty here to like. It's not as intense as some of their earlier work, and there's no massive anthem like "Sex On Fire," but it's more relaxed and still fantastic. I'm a big fan of the guitar layers, and the whole album has a warm vibe, not just because of the cover featuring a palm tree at sunset, but because the tracks exude those chilled-out beach nights or lazy summer days. It's a mature album, and I think it'll do well, one of those albums I can picture being played twenty years from now. I've only listened to it once, but this is an album I won't be setting aside anytime soon. Well done, guys. Stand Out Tracks: Radioactive, Mary, Back Down South & Pony Up
Great packaging, thin plates, and awesome sound stage. Strongly suggest you get it.
Translated automatically,I've got the regular version pressed by Record Industry, and it didn't come with a download code. The sound quality is amazing.
