I've purchased the original first pressing on Novus three times, even snagging a sealed copy once. Unlike this stunning re-release, the first pressing comes with a solid background noise, making it a rather poor pressing. Without a doubt, the Mono Jazz versions should be regarded as the ultimate version of this exceptional LP.
I've purchased this vinyl record multiple times, even when it was in pristine condition. However, each time, the sound quality was poor, with distortions and background noise. I believe the LP might have been poorly pressed initially. I won't be buying it again, even if it's sealed.
