He has shared the stage with jazz luminaries like Paul Motian and Flora Purim, earning him a reputation as an increasingly revered saxophonist.

Beyond his musical prowess, Speake is also a dedicated educator, teaching at prestigious institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His passion for jazz extends to his own record label, Pumpkin Records, through which he has released 18 albums as a leader, featuring collaborations with many notable artists.
