I'm thrilled that TWICE has joined the vinyl scene! After Nayeon's solo project dropped on vinyl, I was really hoping to see more of TWICE's work available in this format. So, you can imagine my excitement when Celebrate (and soon Ready To Be!) hit the shelves. This album is one of the best-sounding records in my collection. The sound quality is incredibly clear and detailed. There are no noticeable pops or crackles; if there are any, they're so quiet and minimal that they don't bother me at all. I was over the moon to find Doughnut included on this album! I've always been a fan of TWICE's Japanese releases because their production and vocals are truly outstanding, and this pressing is no exception. The record comes with an obi and a poster featuring TWICE on one side and lyrics/production credits on the other. It's a gorgeous concept, and both the LP jacket and poster are of very high quality in terms of resolution. The record itself is housed in a plastic round-bottom inner sleeve (it's my first Japanese pressing, so I'm not sure about the material, but at least it's not those paper sleeves, lol). I'd recommend checking out SQ-KPop's unboxing video to get a better idea of what's included and the overall unboxing experience. Now, let's talk about the price. At $58.99, it's a bit steep, especially for a single LP pressing. However, I genuinely believe that the price reflects the quality of the product (in a positive way!). (Check out the last paragraph for pricing from other retailers.) Just wanted to share my experience: I was one of the few who pre-ordered this record on Amazon. I placed my order around December 26, 2022, which seemed to be the day pre-orders opened for US buyers. On the "release" date, January 6, 2023, there were no shipping notifications. I put "released" in quotes because that's what Amazon stated as the release date for this record. I decided to wait since the pre-order price of $58.99 was the best deal for US buyers. A couple of weeks after the "release" date, stores like BestBuy and Walmart started listing Celebrate vinyl as "in stock." I still hadn't received my Amazon pre-order by then, so I eventually paid extra to get it ($69.99 retail price, which I know is steep, but I had waited a while, so whatever). I'm just glad to have it now. BestBuy, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, and Merchbar all carry this record online. BestBuy has the lowest price at $58.99, so I'd recommend purchasing from there if you haven't already. As of February 17, 2023, Merchbar has a sale on this record for $56 shipped, with a retail price of around $70 shipped. The average price for this record seems to be between $60 and $70, so I'd recommend buying it at or below that price range. If you're not in a rush or this record isn't a top priority, definitely try to snag it during a sale.
I traveled all the way to Tokyo for this. We're desperate for more Twice vinyls.
The pressing is crystal clear, and the sound is fantastic! Here's hoping we get more Twice vinyl in the future!
The quality of this pressing is out of this world! Every song sounded fantastic, and I don't recall hearing any pops whatsoever.
We don't have a live price right now, but stock fluctuates daily. You can check for hidden stock on Amazon directly, or let us alert you as soon as it is available.
