Fantastic pressing! The vocals are crisp and dynamic, and the bass is punchy. So glad to finally have this!
Among the three colored editions Walmart put out for Childish Gambino's latest, this one's got the best sound quality! The red version's a tad see-through, and it looks amazing on an acrylic turntable with lights. The packaging's a bit odd, folding into three parts for just a double LP, but that's a minor issue. The included booklet and the sleeve's fold-out art really match the album's vibe, adding nice touches that make the vinyl's price worth it. I wasn't a fan of this album when it first came out, but it's grown on me a ton. Side A is practically perfect, with track two sounding like it could've been on Graduation. The album does slow down a bit, but Donald Glover really sets the summer camp mood it's all about. If you spot it at a store, definitely grab a copy!
This record sounds terrible. There's a lot of background noise and the sound is dull compared to the digital version. Why not spend more on a good pressing instead of a fancy cover, Glassnote? What a mess for Awaken, my Love...
This vinyl pressing has it all, the artwork book is amazing and the records sound great.
Wow, the sound quality is just incredible!🔊🙌 This is one of those albums you want to listen to from start to finish. The bass is fantastic, and the sound is crystal clear. The only tiny issue is a bit of surface noise, but it really doesn't bother me. I've also given it a thorough cleaning with my Project VC-S2, of course. My setup: Pro-Ject X1, Pick It S2, Marantz Model 40n, Kef Q750
