Wow, what an amazing record! It's got that certain something and energy that you find in these early 60s Mono pressings. The jazz is fantastic, with so much interaction between the horns. It's such a shame this one's a hidden treasure that nobody talks about. I've got a few of these early Carmel Jones albums, and they're all brilliant. I bet a reissue on the Pacific Jazz label would go down a treat.
