Product description

Immerse yourself in the timeless elegance of classical music with Zino Francescatti's stunning rendition of Brahms' Violin Concerto, Op. 77 and Sibelius' Violin Concerto, Op. 47. Released on October 19, 2018, under the prestigious Sony Classical label, this album is a masterful display of Francescatti's virtuosity and the New York Philharmonic's impeccable orchestration under the baton of Leonard Bernstein.

The album features six tracks, spanning a total duration of 1 hour and 6 minutes, each piece a testament to the composers' genius and Francescatti's unparalleled skill. The Brahms concerto, often regarded as one of the most beloved and highly recommended works in the classical repertoire, is presented in three movements: the lively "Allegro non troppo," the serene "Adagio," and the spirited "Allegro giocoso, ma non troppo vivace - Poco piu presto." Sibelius' concerto, equally captivating, follows with its own trio of movements: the moderate "Allegro moderato," the deeply moving "Adagio di molto," and the energetic "Allegro, ma non tanto."

This album is not just a collection of performances; it's a journey through the rich landscapes of these iconic compositions, each note meticulously crafted to bring out the depth and nuance of the music. Whether you're a seasoned classical enthusiast or a newcomer to the genre, Zino Francescatti's interpretation offers a fresh and inspiring perspective on these timeless works.
