The copy I got has a tiny bit of a bend, but wow, the sound quality is sharp and clean. I'm really happy with it. The booklet looks amazing - you can't beat v23/Vaughan Oliver (RIP) for that kind of thing.
In my opinion, this version has a lot more bass that the newer releases don't seem to have.
At last, a remaster that truly outshines the original! Well done, sir! A fantastic listen indeed.
Excellent pressing, just like all the UK Pixies reissues that 4AD put out in the 2000s. It's tough to really say how these albums sound on vinyl - back then, everyone had them on tapes ;) It sounds a bit thin, almost like a CD but not in a bad way. Very distinctly Pixies!
Punchy. Loud. Intense. Buzzsaw fidelity sounds like a dentist's drill without freezing. I'm obsessed!! Well balanced, punchy bass in a 3D soundscape. Nice echo on the snare. [Tech specs in my profile].
