In my opinion, this is definitely one to track down. It's like a modern audiophile pressing, the sound is that good. The stereo image is expansive and deep, with instruments that are crystal clear and full of detail. The vinyl I have is completely silent, no noise at all. It could easily serve as a demo disc for this genre.
This is an exceptionally quiet pressing with fantastic dynamics between all the instruments. You can really pick out the crisp and warm tones of Paul Desmond’s alto sax; the chilled and calming strums and plucks of Jim Hall’s guitar; the powerful and groovy beats of Connie Kay’s drums; and the rich and cozy sounds of Eugene Wright’s bass. Now, my copy had a tiny bit of a warp, but it doesn’t affect the sound quality or how it plays. All in all, it's a brilliant pressing!
