I grabbed this when it initially released. It felt like a real game-changer back then, probably the first or among the first digital albums out there. The sound was incredibly clear and sharp, almost the polar opposite of what people usually praise about vinyl and its warm tones. Nowadays, most albums have at least some digital processing involved. I still think it sounds fantastic, and the tracks themselves are really well-crafted too.

What an amazing album this is! It's got those catchy tunes, all done up in a Hawaiian vibe with a strong country blues feel. My partner's currently belting out the lyrics right behind me. His guitar playing is just sooooo good. You can really hear those Hawaiian slack key influences, and it just puts me in such a great mood.
