Had this been recorded back in '92, likely all digital. Still, upon my first spin on the vinyl, I was pretty pleased with the audio quality. The cymbals didn't quite sparkle, but perhaps that's intentional? Hard to say. Sounds fantastic on my setup. The vinyl's not bad either. A couple of pops here and there, but it's not been cleaned with ultrasonic yet. Mr. Shepp is as brilliant as ever. Man can serenade a ballad like no other. Glad he's still around. Definitely give his duo album with Jason Moran a listen!
