I've got a version with a gatefold cover and black vinyl, but it's numbered (in black marker) as 3178/3000. What's that about?
In my view, this is the top hip hop album of the decade. Blu showcases wisdom beyond his years through his verses, tackling diverse subjects with a relaxed flow that never feels trite. Exile backs him up with beats that are both inventive and melodic. It's like a west coast Illmatic, but for the 2000s. The only downer is that it never got a vinyl drop.
Received it today, fantastic release, I'm really diggin' the artwork. Though, they ain't hand-numbered, it's just printed up in the top left corner.
Terrific tunes, adore the relaxed rhythms, and the CDs are stunning
